When a sample sized paint pot turns out not to be a sample!

We’ve recently been refurbishing our lounge.

It was dated and with a growing family, we were ready for a change.

25 years ago we had limed oak fitted furniture built to give us high-quality storage.

But after purchasing multiple small pots of furniture paint we decided we liked the Long Beach Metallic the best.

Problem was when I returned for a large quantity of paint to my horror I discovered the little sample pot I had was it! There was no large version of this paint! All the staff could say at B&Q was that it was for detailing.

So after three coats of paint using 16 small pots of paint and two applications of furniture wax I’m happy to say I finished!

and I can honestly say it’s amazing what a bit of paint, wax and effort can produce.
