The Willet-Holthuysen Museum, Amsterdam – A canal-side home frozen in time

The Willet-Holthuysen Museum was left by Sandrina Louisa Geertruyda Holthuysen in her will in 1895 to the city of Amsterdam.

Visiting this canalside home gives you a wonderful insight of how Abraham Willet and his rich wife Sandrina Louisa Geertruyda Holthuysen lived.

We visited this unique and interesting home using our I amsterdam city cards, saving us €12.50 each. On arrival we left our bags and coats in lockers and took our english audio guides with us whilst looking around this magnificent house.

This unique home is well worth a visit and you can get more details here.
