I am an art-loving sort of person that appreciates creative talents that blend textures and colours that please the eye, but then what one person loves another hates.
So when I started looking for a piece of wall art about two years ago to compliment our lounge, I never quite found what I wanted for the money.
The nearest I came to almost buying was a limited edition print for £900!
So I braved up and set about creating a piece of abstract art with colours that complimented the room.
I then set about building a frame out of scrap timber and board.
The result? Well the wife and I like it so I guess for £10 for materials, it’s not broken the bank!
