Lunch in Hampstead is an easy decision to make as this lovely high street offers places to stop and eat in side streets and on the main road itself.
The Coffee Cup can boast the most central position and clearly as people vote by their feet this is a very popular place.
It’s in need of a refurb. It’s old and looks a little run down but that doesn’t stop it from punching above its weight.
We had the eggs benedict, two poached eggs with smoked salmon on a muffin, covered in hollandaise sauce.
The staff were quick, friendly and efficient here but for me this was perfect for a quick lunch and not for something special or for an evening out.
Think of it as a place to chill and dress down and you’ll not be disappointed with The Coffee Cup.
