Shirazi Salad

 1 Cucumber
 6 ripe vine tomatoes, halved and cored
 1 red onion
 olive oil
 sea salt flakes and freshly ground pepper
 1 juice of one lemon
 2 tsp heaped teaspoons of sumac
 200 g pomegranate seeds

We love this salad for its taste and good looks!

Wash the cucumber and tomatoes.

Finely dice the cucumber and tomatoes and pop them in a salad bowl.

Peel and then finely dice the red onion and add to the bowl.

Add a generous amount of olive oil drizzle to the mixture to lubricate the salad. Season with the salt flakes, ground black pepper and pour over the lemon juice and then mix all the ingredients together.

Finally, to finish and make the salad look amazing simply sprinkle over the pomegranates and the sumac.

Pop in the fridge for 20 mins.

Best served when chilled.
