What an amazing show!
This wonderful show starring critically acclaimed and two-time Olivier Award-winner Tracie Bennett as Mame (She Loves Me, High Society, End of the Rainbow, Hairspray, Blood Brothers, Coronation, Scott & Bailey) and film, TV and theatre favourite Harriet Thorpe as Vera (Absolutely Fabulous, The Brittas Empire, new BBC comedy Mister Winner, Wicked, MAMMA MIA!, National Theatre and West End) are just sensational!
The choreography, the fast paced, quick quits and exceptional timing just flow seamlessly.
The stage set, music and story line are brilliant and well presented.
It’s Mame’s love for life that makes this musical a good feel factor .. sort of a “Hello Dolly” sort of show.
We saw this at the Hope Mill Theatre Manchester. If tickets are still available you shouldn’t miss it .. it was well deserving of the unreserved standing ovation it received.
