I remember vividly those Saturday nights with friends in this well established restaurant in Albert Square.
Remember those stairs down to the basement restaurant, dark walls, dated furniture and that Armenian Pub atmosphere?
Sadly gone are those days, but welcome to a complete refurb after 12 weeks of stripping back the place to reveal a clean modern venue complete with mock marble walls and columns, tiled marble looking floor and new bronze cutlery and white table linen.
This place has been overhauled, there’s more space, new bar area and high backed private booths.
The menu promises all the old and new dishes all presented by chef Vangelis.
The owner Arman and his wife deserve to succeed .. they’ve put everything into inproving this long renowned part of Mancunian culture.
Even Manchesters own Mayor was there at the reopening.
