During late 2021 I had the opportunity to visit this palatial building and gardens in Saffron Walden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The illustrious history that lies behind its grandeur is something that you must discover for yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its many royal visitors and owners include James I, Charles II, Dukes, Earls and Barons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house is stunning with original 17th century kitchens and furniture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the war the site was used to train Polish resistance fighters before being taken over by the English Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
