We arrived in the La Fortuna area located at the foot of Arenal, a perfect shaped conical volcano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built on a relatively small plot amongst tropical vegetation, the Royal Corin greets you with a professional, homely and welcoming feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff here are just wonderful. They always greet you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel is located at the foot of the mountain with a spectacular view of the top of the volcano, shrouded in mist that rarely clears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sounds of the birds, insects and other wildlife are all around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our room was located on the 2nd floor, but referred to as the 3rd floor, because ground is classed as level 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the spa pools, bar and rest areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food was fabulous and creative with portions large enough to serve two. There was a restaurant located on the ground floor used for breakfast and a roof top restaurant that was romantic and well designed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a stunning spa too that sadly we didn’t take advantage of, but it looked incredibly inviting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall I loved this hotel, it’s location and staff. It proved to be a perfect stop on our trip for 4 nights to explore and relax at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
