Due South from Newby Bridge, between Ulverston and Grange-over-Sands is a small village called Cartmel. It’s quaint, has a race course, a 12th century priory and a Michelin star restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impressive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was glorious when we visited, the sprinklers were out ensuring that the racecourse looked it\u2019s best for the meetings planned at the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the priory, visitors were encouraged to pop in and see the exhibition of masks bringing attention to mental health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we walked through this quaint village you saw the beauty of the village and the attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
