To be honest having tried to find somewhere to have lunch in the Joodaan area of Amsterdam proved more difficult that I expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather was cold, wet and windy as we walked around looking for somewhere to get a quick bite to eat, but everywhere was full! Waiting times appeared to be in excess of 30-40 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we walked on a little further and came across this delightful bakery called Vlaamsch Broodhuys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turns out that this is part of a chain and I can tell you that it feels really clean, home cooked and perfect for a quick lunch or snack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the food was fresh and tasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation, flavour, service and value for money were spot on too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So when you\u2019re next in Amsterdam look out for this really cool bakery chain, you\u2019ll not be disappointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
