Porto in Portugal has a lot to offer for a city break and choosing the right location could be a challenge given there is so much here to see and do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we booked yet another Porto Bay Hotel, our third in as a many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stayed in a lovely boutique hotel called the Porto Bay Teatro, located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of most attractions, restaurants and shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel decor and rooms were in quiet neutral tones of beige and browns making this accommodation perfect for those looking for quality without the noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff here were all delightful and should be commended in their can do, no nonsense approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reception desk is nothing more than a desk at sitting height located at the opposite end to the carefully crafted entrance hidden behind what looks like a metal calligraphy laden theatre door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
