If you’re arriving by tube anywhere in London late at night when you’re unfamiliar with your surroundings, you’ll be glad of Uber.<\/p>\n

This popular taxi service run via a very clever app allowed me to summons a taxi before my arrival, showed me the driver and vehicle and it’s reg and an estimated price to my final destination.<\/p>\n

It’s not the first time I’ve used Uber and certainly won’t be the last.<\/p>\n

The driver felt welcoming too. I didn’t have to part with money or have any awkward conversations about cost because it was all sorted before I got in his clean Toyota Prius.<\/p>\n

\nAs we arrived at our final destination our driver was perhaps a little too enthusiastic in trying to get a tip by insisting he took our cases to the front door.<\/p>\n

I just thanked him and he left with a promise of five stars… we were both happy.<\/p>\n
