In the middle of Mai Chau Valley stand a number of hotels.. they all have phenomenal views and offer warm Vietnamese accommodation.<\/p>\n

Our hotel is no different, serviced by staff that are ‘white Thai’ and comforts that are totally acceptable for the two night stay we had planned.<\/p>\n

The owner\/manager ‘John’ offered us free bicycles when we arrived, but my wife was struggling .. solution? He got Zan his bellboy to ride with us using a motorbike with my wife as pillion passenger.<\/p>\n

After 8km of relatively flat terrain weaving through the minority villages we arrived back.. my wife quite refreshed and me .. well let’s say I’ve not ridden a bike for 20 years.<\/p>\n

The room with a view that we have is on the top floor of this three storey hotel. It offers a good clean room, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Not too impressed with the fine shower .. kind of brings new meaning to water saving.<\/p>\n

Overall this place is worthy of 5\/5 on TripAdvisor but don’t expect 5 star.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
